poems from the sky

A world Unknown

A trip into a world unknown, Where colours swirl in every tone, A journey through a rainbow haze, As you walk in to the maize.

The room begins to melt away, As visions form in disarray, And walls become a living dream, With sounds that twist and turn and scream. The patterns on the carpet swirl, As thoughts and feelings now unfurl, And time becomes a fickle friend, your mind begins to bend and blend. Colours pulse and throb with light, As music fills the endless night, The senses now no longer blind, In this adjusted state of mind. your thoughts becomes a canvas white, On which the universe takes flight, And all that was once known before, a beacon light and so much more. The world beyond the eyes is vast, As ego fades away at last journey to the vast unknown, Into a land that now you own. you let your mind climb free and high, And let your spirit dance and fly, For in this world of endless space, No limit to your mind's embrace.
