Night Shelter Support Worker - Bank/Relief support Worker Graih, one of the island’s homeless charities, is offering some exciting opportunities. We are looking for a person to join the team working in the Emergency Night Shelter in a full-time capacity. We are looking to recruit a person to work waking nights on a rota basis, welcoming those who have no other shelter. We are also looking to increase our relief Support Worker pool. This will be to provide cover in the Night Shelter when a gap arises and will be on an ad hoc bank basis. This is a great opportunity to get to know the charity, the staff team and our guests. This is a unique opportunity to work for a pioneering charity, serving and building relationships with some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Graih is a Manx-registered charity (1012) and company (121509C) Lead drystone mason A fulltime, skilled Lead drystone mason is required to join a team at a private in Santon to help create a wide range of landscape structures and features that will shape and enhance the landscape. The successful candidate will assemble and work with a small team to assist with the various projects and they are expected to guide and train the team members to develop the teams’ abilities. The Lead drystone mason will also be required to prove their ability to build dry stone walls to match existing walls on the estate as well as provide portfolio evidence of a diverse range of previous work. The work is physically demanding and will be outdoors for most of the year. A drive to succeed, an adaptable approach, vision and a willingness to collaborate with others are expected.
